By writing down that she wanted to start a business and get 4 paying clients in 12 weeks, it became an absolute non-negotiable for her.
4. We broke that goal down & reverse engineered a plan to get her there
All the overwhelm dissipated when she saw an easily-actionable road map in front of her.
5. We got clear on her values, skills & strengths
This helped her get complete clarity what type of business she wanted to create, who she wanted to help & the solution she could develop to help them.
6. We created an offer & validated it through market research.
Even though she didn't have all the answers yet, she created the bare bones of an offer & asked some potential ideal clients for their feedback.
7. She found her entrepreneurial streak.
After a couple of really positive market research calls, she offered the participants an introductory package at a price they couldn't resist. Two out of the three took her up on it and now she's not only got an income-generating side business, but she's refining her offer in real time.
8. She surrounded herself with inspirational people & resources
She read countless articles & books and listened to podcasts. She also met with other female business owners & quizzed them on how they made the leap.
9. She trusted the process
More than once, she fell into the trap of overthinking the HOW, but she pulled herself back every time by digging in, doing the work & trusting her coach (me).
