3 reasons to package up your services into a sexy offer that clients can't resist

The most common fear I hear among aspiring female business owners is that they're not confident to sell their services. They THINK its because they've never worked in sales. But in reality, the answer is much simpler than that...


It's because they can't articulate the value in what they're selling.


Think about it. How can you sell anything confidently if you don't really know how it's gonna benefit your potential client? But take it from me and the mistakes I made along the way, once you package up your services into something sexily tangible, that you KNOW your ideal client needs and that you KNOW you can deliver, your confidence will sky rocket.


Why? Well, I'm glad you asked.....

Why package up your services rather than sell by the hour or session?


1. Selling by the hour devalues your expertise

  • Clients buy results, so if you offer a package that delivers specific results, you're able to charge according to the VALUE it brings. e.g. Say you’re a personal trainer who helps women get fit again after having a baby. A package called ‘Get your pre-baby body back’ is going to be much more attractive than ‘6 hours of personal training’ even if both options represent the same amount of your time.

  • If you sell your time by the hour, you might charge £60 per hour and make £360. But you could increase that to say, £500 as a package because you’re selling a result. You can charge more because you’re increasing the perception of your expertise.

2. It's easier for potential clients to understand what you're selling

  • Having all your services listed out on your website might seem like a good idea as you're showcasing everything you do. But all that does is overwhelm and confuse your potential client and overwhelmed and confused clients don't buy.

  • Packaging up your services makes it simpler for people to digest and makes it easier for you and your clients to refer to, rather than ‘I’m just calling up to enquire about this service, this service, this service and this service.

3. You can create more value and make more money in the process

  • Creating a package automatically upsells your potential client to buy more of your services, without them having to ask for them. For example, my coaching packages include unlimited text support, which my clients see as a real value add. If I sold my coaching by the hour and didn't include the text support, they might not take it, which means less value for them and less income for me.

  • You can also make more money upfront with a package, either with pay in full deals or payment plans.
